A note from Pastor
Greetings in the Name of our Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to you. Peace Evangelical Lutheran is over 60 years in the Owensboro community. The congregation is affiliated with the Missouri Synod. The entire Bible is the inspired Holy Word of God. Jesus Christ is revealed in the Bible as the Son of God conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. The Father sent Jesus to preach repentance to all. Jesus was crucified also for you on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus was dead and buried. On the third day he rose from the grave for you. Faith in God’s all atoning death for you in Jesus takes all your sins and gives you His righteousness.
Our church teaches repentance and forgiveness in Jesus Name. Our church Baptizes children and adults into the Triune Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28. Our church offers Holy Communion which is the real body and blood of Jesus for you every Sunday Worship. For those who are not trained in the Lutheran tradition the pastor will schedule class where you might learn of Jesus. May the Lord Jesus Christ grant you peace now and eternally. Call me anytime that you have a spiritual need.
